The Lake Highlands’ Lifegroups are small communities of faith, meeting in homes during the week to experience the intimacy, presence and healing power of God.
Through Lake Highlands’ Lifegroups, we promise to provide a shelter for all people, inviting God to draw us near to Him and to each other, as we pursue spiritual maturity, accountable relationships and intentional works for service, so that the body of Jesus may be built up and the kingdom increased.
Vibrant, Spirit-filled Lifegroup gatherings take place throughout the Metroplex each week.

A Place to Embrace the Body…
Lifegroups are places of Covenant Love, where we experience God’s unconditional acceptance, love and support. God’s faithfulness in keeping his promises enables this to be a safe place where our promises are kept and a covenant can be made among us to “stay together” no matter what!
A Place of Trust…
Lifegroups are places of trust and mutual accountability, where we grow and mature in Christ. It is here that we are learning to be our brothers’ keeper. Here we are constantly reminded that God’s desire for us is a trusting community where we can know and be known, that we learn how to tell the truth in love and see to it that that each becomes a fully mature adult in Christ, fully developed within and without, fully alive in Christ.
A Place of Community…
Lifegroups are places of Covenant Community, where believers in Christ live in wonderful harmony, holding everything in common. Here no one claims ownership of their possessions, but shares willingly and joyfully when any has need, where every request for assistance is heard and responded to in a spirit of grace.
A Place to Discover…
Lifegroups are places to discover, use and grow in Spiritual gifts, where individual gifts can be discovered, affirmed, nurtured, encouraged, and matured through use. It is also a place to discover what your gifts are not and be directed toward your real gifting.
A Place of Fellowship…
Lifegroups are places of fellowship, the breaking of bread, prayer, and devotion to the Apostles’ teaching, where there is a strong commitment to teaching the Word of God and places of common testimony for all that God is continuing to do in our lives. Our meals together are celebrations-exuberant and joyful as we together praise the Father for our common life, common meals and common prayers.
A Place of Reconciliation…
In our Lifegroups, we live out the vision of reconciliation, where, as Christ’s ambassadors, we reach within our body, to the larger body of Christ and into the world to persuade women and men to move beyond their differenes and enter into God’s work of making things right between them. Here we learn to speak for Christ these words, “Become friends with God, he’s already become a friend with you.”
